The Art of Doing Nothing : Simple Ways
to Make Time for Yourself
by Veronique Vienne, Erica Lennard (Photographer)
Another all-time favorite of mine. If you have a
hard time slowing down & relaxing this treasure
of a book will delight you. It is 91 pages of simple
suggestions and ideas on how to slow down and indulge
your senses in life's simple pleasures. You'll never
look at 'doing nothing' the same way again!
Don't Sweat the Small Stuff--and it's all
small stuff
by Richard Carlson
Another all time favorite from my personal library.
There's a very good reason why Richard Carlson's
book became a NY Times bestseller --it's great.
This is a book of one page snippets each offering
a thought, suggestion or story about how to bring
more peace into your life. The suggestions are simple
yet profound. This book makes for great bed time
or anytime contemplation material.
I have to say, for anyone still seeking their ideal
life partner, this is a fantastic resource. It takes
you step by step through the process of identifying
what you really want in a partner (which is harder
than you think), mending the scars from past relationships
and identifying the right one when they come along.
It seems silly to read a book to find a mate, but
trust me, this book will help you find your soul
mate.
